Jonathan Pace prides himself on not underestimating the intelligence of the audience (H. L. Mencken be damned!), but this isn't comedy for elitists either. If you hear a joke too heady for your tastes, the next is bound to be silly or absurd. By the end of the performance, you'll come away a better person for the experience, or at least a drunker person.
Having been a finalist in the venerable Funniest Person in Austin contest, and winning the unfortunately named "Rooftop Rusty Nail" at the 2008 Aspen Comedy Festival, which, when one reads the description, has something to do with being an up-and-coming comic that delivers laughs and deserve more attention, and has little, if anything, to do with iron oxidation or shelter construction, Jonathan's comedy career is on the rise, so see him at the Velveeta while admission and drinks are cheap.
