Like a bathroom concoction of coffee, whiskey, marijuana and hair, Seth Cockfield may not be the most charming or cheery comic around, but it doesn't mean he's no fun. Doling out kidney punches to the himself as well as the rest of the world equally, even if the crowd isn't always on his side, he's always on yours. He can be absurd, cynical and lighthearted all at once, employing vulgarity not as a shock tool but as punctuation that articulates his point in a way that fluffy, Harper's-speak simply fails. Bobbing and weaving through social commentary, family gripes, and grenade-like one-liners, there's a little something for most people at Seth's show. Crowd pleaser he aint, but we will say he's worth the five bucks and the six bourbon & cokes. If you end up not liking him, tell him so after the show, and he'll explain why you're wrong.
